Meet the owner, Stephanie, and learn about her journey to beginning Coherency.

I’m a New York native living in sunny California. Soon after moving to the west coast, I left my job in the public school system and joined a local private practice where I became passionate about working closely with children’s whole family systems. I soon began offering my own private in-home services and further saw the value of performing therapy in the child’s natural environment. I loved experiencing a collective effort from the entire family unit. I found this to be equally true when I began working with children in their school settings. When children are supported in the comfort of their everyday environment, collaboration becomes more seamless, skill generalization occurs with greater ease, and a more meaningful rapport emerges—one that transcends the conventional boundaries of the provider-client relationship.
